Gable is my dog, Larry’s brother. I fostered this litter of puppies when they were babies. I ended up adopting Larry and his four other siblings found homes. Unfortunately for Gable (and through no fault of his own), he was abused and returned to the rescue. He could not come back and live at my house because one of my other dogs (Hank) does not like adult dogs and Gable came back as an adult. My good friend, Glenne has been fostering Gable. Now, she is not going to be able to foster him anymore and Gable deserves a really good home. So, my ask is for everyone to think about Gable and if they or anyone they know could adopt or foster my buddy.

Gable is 3 years old and a mix of dogs. Larry came back as pit bull, cattle dog and boxer, so we think Gable would be similar. Gable has been to a board and train program and is well behaved. He has some anxiety due to the abuse, but has really come a long way. We used to take him to breweries and out and about. He is able to go out again. He will need someone who can watch his cues in case he gets nervous. He will basically go behind you and look to you to make sure everything is safe.

Gable loves to play with other dogs, but could also be an only dog. He would be a great walking, running or biking partner. When he got returned, he was at a boarding facility while being evaluated. There was a little boy there that he completely bonded with. He would be an amazing family dog.

He has so much love to give and is an awesome dog. Please help me find a home for my boy.
