My summer was really boring but I got to spend time with Nana and Ling Ling. They came to Denver, Colorado to visit me because I had a  surgery. The Doctors and Surgeons of Children’s Colorado opened up my spine and took the bottom part out. They did this to help my legs and my pain. I didn’t have any pain from my surgery. I had a lot of recovery time, 5 days in the hospital and then I got to rest at home.

During my hospital stay, a lot of people came to visit me. These people include Mr. Greg Critchett, Miss Liz, Miss Mary Kate, my Mom, my Dad, my Uncle John (my mom’s brother), my Grandpa, Nana, and Ling Ling.

When I got home from the hospital, we had a party for me. Enjoy the pictures!

My favorite Starbucks drink is a Butter Beer Latte. It has caramel, cinnamon, and toffee nut in it.  It is topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. My Grandpa Bob told me about it. The drink is on the secret menu and you have to have the recipe to make it. The drink is really sweet and makes me feel good in the morning. It is inspired by the Harry Potter series because they make a butter beer. Sometimes I get my Butter Beer iced. Please try my drink and comment what you think about! Thank you!

On Saturday, March 10th Bridget and Rob had a game night. It was really good. We ate good food and had good company. I really enjoyed myself. Thank you, Bridget and Rob. I hope to do it again soon.

I am really happy that Alan Roach won the man train voice. Kim Christiansen from 9News won the woman train voice. I really like both of their voices. Both of their voices are really good. I am looking forward to hearing the voices when I go to travel in the April. I want to get an Audio Clip of Alan when I am on the train. Here is the announcement from 9News. One of my favorite places in Colorado is the Denver International Airport. I enjoy going on the train. The train takes me to the right terminal. My favorite part on the train is the voices. The best voice is Alan Roach. Alan Roach is currently an announcer for the Minnesota Vikings. He was the announcer for the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, Colorado Avalanche and Superbowl. I went bowling with my friends on January 20th. We did great! Mr. Critchett got a 99. He is my favorite teacher and he read my name at graduation. I got a 101! Brittany won with a 110. Here are pictures from my bowling outing!

I like to have lots of dinner parties with my friends. I made chocolate cake this weekend and it was really good. I invited four friends, some of them were my old neighbors and my aid from kindergarten and her mom. Lisa is my aid from Kindergarten. I took pictures of my cake. We had rigatoni and meat sauce.

I know so many people at Children’s and they are all amazing. I have been going to the hospital since I was three. I have been going for therapy, doctor appointments, and to see all the people.  I went to a goodbye party for Amy when she left the hospital. They are like my home. I spoke to a crowd at the hospital about IEPs. I hope to speak more at the hospital. I really like it there. Dr. Oleszek is my favorite doctor. I like her personality.
