I am worried about surgery. Can you guys help me wake up safely like I normally would at the hospital? I am not waking up as easily after iron infusion with Dr. Smith. I will be there on May 26th. Can you please let my mom back in the operating room because she knows me the best? It wouldn’t be normal for me to be there without her. If I start telling you I am hot, you won’t understand me and that is what happened last time two years ago.
Can my bloggers send me a happy memory so I have good thoughts in my brain?
Hey Dominic, Iβm sorry youβre feeling anxious about your surgery, but I totally understand that. Surgery is scary stuff. Here is a memory to keep in your brain…the day we met at Panera and talked about you volunteering at the library, and then when you actually came in for your first day of volunteering at SM! It was awesome to have you there. I look forward to the time when you are recovered from surgery and we are done with this COVID business enough to have the libraries open safely so you can come back and volunteer. Be well my friend.

Hey Dominic, I hear you! Surgery sure causes a lot of anxiety and stress. Remember how quickly you connected with the Doctors a Mountain View Pain Centers during your photo shoot for the Alert Decal Program? Can you bring low tech boards to help you communicate with your medical team? Also, feel free to bring the Alert Decal Program information card. You really impressed the Team at Mountain View!! You will be in our prayers! We cannot wait to see you!! Love, Lori

Hi Dominic,
My name is Mariel and I am one of the students a Regis who you met over zoom! I wanted to tell you it was really cool to see your house and all you pets. I really enjoyed getting to know more about you and hear stories of you growing up. I hope one day, when all this Covid nonsense is over, you can come visit us in person at school! I look forward to your next blog post π
